Throwback Thursday: Wonder Woman

That’s right.  There I am around 4 years old having the time of my life as Wonder Woman for Halloween.  I loved the costume, loved Wonder Woman, and was really into that faux fur jacket.

I’d put good money on the costume being flammable.IMG_2164

  1. So awesome! And I recognize that 1970s photo patina and tell-tale rounded corner cut on the print. I loved my faux fur at that time period too, but I never got to be anything as amazing as Wonder Woman for Halloween. We always homemade my costumes, so of course I thought the flammable store-bought ones were the coolest things on the planet.

      • Mae West..that’s so cool! I was weird things, like a book. It was called ‘The 13 Tales of Gloom’ and my eyes showed through the double O’s. LOL. That one was fun to make and decorate, but since the box encumbered my stride my group of trick or treaters was constantly calling back to me, “Come on Gloom!” all night. Definitely one of the more memorable, if less comfortable Halloweens.

    • The costumes now are amazing! They’re expensive, but you can throw them in the wash and the kids can wear them again and again. Between my daughter and sons, I have tons of princess gowns (she loved them), ninja warriors, and superheros!
