Throwback Thursday: Sydney, Australia

Before the good folks of “Modern Family” visited Australia, I made my way downunder.  What an amazing experience!  If you ever get the chance to travel to Sydney, I highly recommend it.  If you have been to Australia, please share your take on the country.

I’d love to give travel advice on where to go and what to see, but it’s been over twenty years since I visited the fair city back in the spring of October of 1997.  Following are some of the pictures I took while there.  I can’t believe I don’t have any pictures featuring yours truly.  If I come across any, I’ll update the post.  In the meantime, enjoy!

What’s a trip to Sydney without a visit to the Sydney Opera house? I think it’s against the tourist code not to take a picture of the iconic structure.

Just as important as the Opera House is the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

You can’t go to Sydney without visiting the beach!

Great photos! My husband and i have talked about visiting Australia someday. Maybe after he retires. These days, time off is difficult to come by.

If you can make it happen, it’s definitely worth it!

Gorgeous pics! Nicely captured. Did you use the old pre-digital film camera?

I did! I’ve always been bad about developing film. I have a bowl filled with undeveloped film.
