Throwback Thursday

Happy Anniversary to my mother and father.  If they were alive, they would be celebrating their 46th Anniversary.  Not a day passes where I don’t think about them and miss their presence in my life.  I look at my children and am saddened by the knowledge that they have grown-up without my parents in their lives.  However, I can see my parents in each of them and believe that they’re looking over their grandchildren.

I know, I know, there are more pictures of mom than dad in this one.  I only have one picture of my father during his honeymoon.  I have to ask my sister to look through her photos for more.

Wonderful photos. Thanks for sharing! I can see your resemblance to your mom…especially in the wedding photo. So pretty!

Sweet photos! Especially love that wedding shot.

And you’re mom was one gorgeous woman. She could’ve given a Victorian princess on a movie set a run for her money.

These are such wonderful photos! Thank you for sharing them with us. Such a happy couple. One can really see that. I love your mother’s wedding gown. It’s beautiful!

Thank you! We still have the gown. Unfortunately, It didn’t fit either my sister or I. The women in my family are shrinking! Mom was 3 inches taller than I am, and 7 1/2 taller than my sister, lol!

Wow! Quite a difference in height!

I tried on my mother’s wedding gown when i was thirteen, and it fit perfectly. 🙂 She is still so petite, and i’m definitely not. Lol
