Born and raised in Brooklyn (do I even need to add New York?), this city girl now lives in Orange County New York, on a mountain in the midst of farms and forests. After graduating from Smith College with a double major in American Studies and Government and spending 11 years working on Wall Street in the international securities industry, I decided to concentrate on writing. When I’m not reading, I’m chasing after my four kids, dog, and cat. I enjoy cooking – my husband blames his weight gain on my dinners and desserts – and sharing the traditions of my Italian-American family. I love to travel and have been to Europe, Asia, and Australia. Having a special needs child, and recently battled breast cancer I can say that life has been quite the adventure. I try to approach every situation with a positive attitude.
